Tammy Chang (Investment Funds, Los Angeles) represents institutional investors in all stages and strategies of their private fund investments. Chang represents several of the world’s largest public pension funds, secondaries fund managers and Fortune 500 companies in all facets of their investment programs, including structuring and negotiating commingled fund investments, separate accounts and dedicated managed account platforms. She has extensive experience in private equity secondaries, representing both buy- and sell-side investors in secondaries transactions of all sizes. Chang also played a leading role in two separate transactions that set records for the largest private equity secondary sales.
Aruna Chittiappa (State & Local Tax, New York) advises Fortune 100 companies and other industry-leading businesses in all aspects of state and local tax matters. Chittiappa specializes in tax litigation, controversy and audit defense. She has litigated complex cases in state courts and administrative tribunals throughout the U.S. Chittiappa advises clients on critical income, franchise, excise and sales and use tax issues, with a particular focus on software and digital transactions and is highly regarded by her successful representations of flagship clients in the technology, financial services, telecommunications and retail sectors.
Brendan Hennessey (Litigation, Washington, DC) helps clients navigate complex risks and resolve disputes in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors. He supports clients in litigation related to large infrastructure projects, such as highways, bridges, power plants, commercial and governmental buildings—frequently in connection with issues at the intersection of construction and environmental law. Hennessey also advises large manufacturing, oil and gas, nuclear energy and other industrial and commercial companies on arising disputes and regulatory compliance issues.
Victoria Judd (Finance, London) is a broad-based finance lawyer who advises borrowers and financial institutions on a wide range of transactions, including sustainable finance, restructurings, real estate finance and acquisition finance, with a particular focus on international energy finance and project development. She advises clients in domestic and cross border debt financings and speaks both English and French.
Chris Knight (Asset Finance, London) is a member of the firm’s Asset Finance team. He acts for lessors, lenders, funds, export credit agencies and airlines on a wide range of high-value, cross-border aircraft and engine finance transactions. His extensive transactional experience spans sale and leasebacks, original equipment manufacturer purchase agreements, trades, pre-delivery payment financings, JOLCOs, insurance- and ECA-backed finance and lease structures, Islamic financings, asset-backed securities transactions, engine maintenance and support agreements, and loan/mortgage deals.
Derek Mayor (Litigation, Sacramento & Los Angeles) works with clients in a wide variety of industries litigating complex commercial issues, corporate investigations, white collar defense and employment disputes. Mayor also litigates individual plaintiff and consumer class actions alleging breach of contract, unfair competition, product liability and more. Additionally, he is a member of the firm’s Wine, Beer & Spirits team, advising on matters pertaining to licensing, industry trade practices, franchise disputes and litigating licensing disputes.
Brian Montgomery (Financial Regulation, New York) advises banks, non-bank financial institutions, fintech companies, money services businesses and other businesses on regulatory and compliance matters, with a particular focus on consumer financial products and services. Previously, Montgomery served as the Deputy Superintendent at the New York Department of Financial Services. He co-leads the firm’s Corporate Transparency Act Task Force.
Ashleigh Myers (Environmental & Natural Resources, Austin & Houston) advises clients on complex environmental regulatory, litigation, transactional and public policy matters, with a focus on transboundary pollution, large-scale project development, natural resource damages, and compliance under key environmental statutes. Her expertise spans contamination investigations, water quality and rights and major project planning and permitting, offering clients strategic solutions for managing and mitigating environmental risks. Myers provides valuable cross-practice environmental counseling to clients, including those navigating novel and evolving standards in sustainability and the energy transition. She also serves as the attorney editor-in-chief of the Texas Environmental Law Journal.
Michelle Ng (Litigation, Hong Kong & New York) represents a broad range of international companies—including U.S. and Chinese corporations—on their litigation and business needs. Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Ng handles every aspect of litigation, beginning with commencing an action, through discovery, working with experts, motions practice and trial. She has also argued and won multiple motions to compel, and for sanctions against defendants in international litigation.
Sandro Serra (Intellectual Property, Austin) represents companies across a wide range of industries, including technology, finance, energy, healthcare and more, with a focus on emerging and innovative technologies. His experience spans areas such as Generative AI, blockchain, social media, e-commerce, software, video games, media/entertainment and other cutting-edge fields. Serra is highly skilled in negotiating complex technology-related transactions and providing strategic guidance on corporate, commercial and technology matters. A key driver of AI-driven solutions at Pillsbury, he combines deep industry knowledge with a forward-thinking approach. Serra is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Brianna Walsh (Litigation, New York) handles complex general and commercial litigation, providing comprehensive guidance from pre-filing case strategy through trial and appeal. Walsh has substantial experience handling high-stakes matters, having prepared and argued numerous dispositive motions and appeals, including cases before United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division for the First and Second Departments, and a certiorari petition in the United States Supreme Court. Drawing on her extensive practice in New York state and federal courts, Walsh helps clients address multifaceted legal and business issues, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to navigate complex litigation effectively.
