A team of Pillsbury lawyers led by Corporate partner Ron Fleming and senior associate Taylor O’Toole advised Stoke Space, the rocket company building the world’s first 100 percent reusable medium-lift rocket, in securing $260 million in Series C funding.

Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Industrious Ventures, Leitmotif, Point72 Ventures, Seven Seven Six, the University of Michigan, Woven Capital and Y Combinator were among the new and existing participating investors.

According to the official announcement, the financing round, which more than doubled Stoke’s total funding, reflects the growing demand for Stoke’s innovative approach to creating ultra-low-cost on-demand space transportation, as well as the exceptional progress the company has made in developing the fully reusable solutions that make low-cost access to and from space possible.
