Pillsbury advised Goodfire AI, the leading AI interpretability research company, in securing $50 million in Series A funding.

The financing round was led by Menlo Ventures with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Anthropic, B Capital, Work-Bench, Wing and South Park Commons, among others.

In connection with the financing, Goodfire also announced the launch of its platform, Ember, a model-agnostic interpretability platform which decodes the neurons inside of an AI model to give direct, programmable access to its internal thoughts.

According to its press release, Goodfire intends to use the raised funds to support the expansion of its research initiatives and the development of Ember.
