Pillsbury represented venture capital investment firm Discerning Capital in co-leading a £7.7 million Series B funding round for Midnite, a hyper-growth UK sportsbook and casino.
The Raine Group and Play Ventures served as co-leaders, in addition to Discerning Capital, with additional investment from Venrex and Big Bets. As part of the transaction, Midnite also appointed David Williams, a Discerning Capital partner, to its board of directors.
According to a statement by Midnite co-founder Nick Wright, the capital will enable the company to accelerate their growth strategy while continuing to build game-changing products.
