Pillsbury advised Harbert Growth Partners (HGP) in leading a $22.2 million Series B funding round for Roots Automation, the world’s first generative AI model for insurance.

In addition to HGP, MissionOG, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures and Vestigo Ventures participated as follow-on investors.

Currently investing out of HGP V, HGP has successfully exited several portfolio investments through transactions with a distinguished list of strategic acquirers including Amazon, GE, GSK, Medallia, Philips, Qualtrics, Salesforce, Sophos, Target, and WEX, among others.
