Kit Ryan guides companies through every stage of their life cycle, from formation and early-stage financing to growth, strategic transactions and public offerings. He works with a variety of public and private clients, including tech companies, investors and entrepreneurs, primarily in the artificial intelligence, SaaS, life sciences, digital health, video games, semiconductor, defensetech and cybersecurity sectors. Kit also has significant experience in the hotel and hospitality sector, where he has advised on more than 100 transactions in the past four years, including high-profile hotel management and franchise agreements for luxury resorts, mixed-use developments and branded residential projects nationwide.
Entrenched in the startup ecosystem, Kit founded two startups prior to transitioning to his legal career and now regularly advises entrepreneurs and emerging companies through complex legal and business decisions. In addition to his legal work, he mentors founders through The Brink SBDC, a unique innovation-focused specialty center hosted at the University of San Diego. As a former certified public accountant and tax professional, he brings a sophisticated blend of financial, business and legal experience to his practice.

- Represented Everi, a premier provider of land-based and digital casino gaming content and products, in its $59 million acquisition of certain strategic assets of Video King, in its acquisition of Venuetize and in its $22 million acquisition of certain strategic assets of Intuicode Gaming.

- Represented CoralTree, one of the top independent hospitality management companies in the United States, in more than 100 deals in the past four years, including negotiating the hotel management agreements for Pier Sixty-Six, located in Fort Lauderdale, Everline Resort & Spa, located in North Lake Tahoe, Suncadia Resort, located in Cle Elum, and Lake Nona Wave Hotel, located in Orlando, Florida, and others.
- Represented Reef Capital Partners, a commercial real estate investment company, in its management and franchise arrangement with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury & lifestyle portfolio, and global real estate investment and hospitality management company Highgate for the famous Coco Palms Resort in Kauai.
- Represented DMBH Residential Investment LLC in its arrangement with Marriott for a new Ritz-Carlton Residences in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which was one of the largest hospitality deals in the state.
