Kendy Chan advises emerging growth and technology companies on a variety of corporate matters, including formation and operation, corporate governance, venture capital financing, tender offers, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kendy’s experience also includes public debt offerings and ’33 and ’34 Act reporting, as well as other public and private securities offerings. He works with a wide range of clients and industries, including software and hardware development, SaaS, digital media and entertainment, decentralized platforms, electric vehicles, carbon-marketplace APIs and artificial intelligence, among other emerging and disruptive technologies.

Represented NTT DATA in its acquisitions of Apisero, Postlight LLC and Vectorform.
Represented AT&T Ventures in its strategic investment into Derq Inc.

- Represented Eat Just in its $200 million funding round, led by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Qatar.
- Represented Streamlined Ventures as lead investor in HerculesAI’s $26 million Series B financing.
- Represented Cloverly in its $19 million Series A financing led by Grotech Ventures.
- Represented Fortem Technologies in its $17.8 million funding round led by Lockheed Martin Ventures, Hanwha Aerospace, and AIM13|Crumpton Venture Partners.
- Represented Disa Technologies, Inc. in its $15 million Series A financing co-led by Evok Innovations, the Wyoming Venture Capital Fund from the Wyoming Business Council and McKinley Alaska Private Investment.
- Represented Falcomm in its $4 million Series Seed preferred stock financing round led by Squadra Ventures.

- Represented Clearwater Paper Corporation in the sale of its tissue business to Sofidel America Corporation, a subsidiary of Sofidel S.p.A., for $1.06 billion.
