David Wright advises international clients on complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters. He often represents U.S. and Chinese corporations and individuals with operations in the U.S. and abroad.
David also advises clients on commercial real estate transactions and financings, ground-up construction projects, fund investments and affordable housing developments.
Before joining Pillsbury, David externed for the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi, U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii, and for the U.S. Department of Transportation – Maritime Administration (MARAD).
Representative Experience
- Represented large financial services corporation in connection with the rollup of direct and indirect equity interests in a large portfolio of low-income housing tax credit properties into a master equity fund—as well as an offering of interests in the multi-billion dollar master fund. This transaction represents one of the largest secondary market offerings in the history of the low-income housing tax credit industry.
- Represented Ventura Foods in the sale of its Marie’s® dressings and Dean’s Dip® businesses to Brynwood Partners.
