Pillsbury’s Intellectual Property practice, along with several of the group’s attorneys, earned individual practitioner rankings, which were recognized by Managing IP’s IP Stars directory for 2024. Notably, the IP practice, specifically in the Virginia jurisdiction, received a “Highly Recommended” ranking.

Covering multiple IP practice areas and more than 50 jurisdictions, the Managing IP Awards program, which was first launched in 2006, is among the most comprehensive and widely respected awards programs in the legal industry. The program’s rankings are based on data from research conducted by IP STARS.

To be considered an IP Star, honorees must be a very experienced senior IP practitioner in a private practice who has been recommended by peers, clients and/or an individual that is integral to the success of the respective firm.

The individually ranked attorneys include the following:

  • Callie Bjurstrom – Trademark Star (California)
  • William Atkins – Patent Star (Virginia)
  • Jack Barufka – Patent Star (Virginia)
  • Bryan Collins – Patent Star (Virginia)

In addition to the listed state jurisdictions, each attorney also received recognition in the United States, or National, jurisdiction.
