The 2024 Disability Equality Index (DEI) has again recognized Pillsbury as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion. DEI has become the leading independent, third-party resource for the annual benchmarking of corporate disability inclusion policies and programs.

Companies participating in the index are scored on six categories: culture and leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, community engagement, supplier diversity and responsible procurement (unweighted). To be considered for inclusion, companies must have scored at least an 80 on a scale of 100. This year, the DEI was completed by 542 employers.

Pillsbury brings innovation to more than just its legal work. That same pioneering vision directs the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. It was among the first major law firms to promote women to partnership and the first large, national firm in the U.S. to elect a woman as Firm Chair. Today, Pillsbury’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is evident in the composition of its firm leadership; attorneys of color, women attorneys and LGBTQ+ attorneys lead our practices and offices and serve on influential firm committees.
