Pillsbury advised freight intelligence platform GenLogs on securing $14.6 million in a Series A funding round.

The funding round was led by Venrock and HOF Capital, with additional participation from existing investors Steel Atlas, AutoTech Ventures, Venture53, TitletownTech, Plug and Play Ventures and Heartland Ventures.

GenLong’s technology uses roadside sensors and cameras to gather data on trucks and trailers, utilizing a methodology influenced by counterterrorism operations to track equipment trends. In addition, recent coverage reports that GenLogs anticipates putting the raised funds toward growing the company’s sensor and camera network into U.S. ports and expand its team and technology into Mexico.
