The Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act, otherwise known as the SAFETY Act, is a program administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that offers significant liability protections to providers of security products, services and security programs, including those employed at stadiums, theme parks and other large commercial properties.
A recent article by a team of Pillsbury lawyers explores how commercial property owners can participate in this important program to manage their risks and hedge against liabilities caused by terrorist attacks.
