Will Miller adeptly guides clients through all stages of a dispute, from initial claims and negotiations, through discovery, trial, and appeal.
Will represents clients in a variety of complex commercial matters in both federal and state courts, with substantive experience in insurance coverage, construction, real estate, stockholder, and government contract disputes. He has litigated a number of cases through trial, and also advises clients concerning insurance and risk management issues that arise outside of litigation. Will is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice, litigating matters ranging from child custody and domestic violence disputes to a civil rights case on behalf of a transgender student.
Representative Experience
- Member of Pillsbury trial team that, in partnership with Lambda Legal, successfully represented a transgender student contesting his schools’ restroom use policy in a bench trial in federal court.
- Prevailed on summary judgment in defense of government contractor in workshare dispute.
- Advising builder on insurance coverage for numerous water intrusion claims in Florida residential developments.
