Jack Ko is Pillsbury’s Shanghai office managing partner. As a native Mandarin speaker with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, Jack leverages his language skill, legal experience, and technical knowledge to represent Chinese companies in export controls, cross-border and intellectual property litigation in the U.S.

Devin Geng is a counsel in the firm’s corporate practice. Devin’s primary practice includes U.S. and Hong Kong capital market transactions, M&A and FCPA-related compliance matters.
Based in the Shanghai office, Chunbin Xu has extensive experience representing Chinese and international clients in cross-border corporate transactions (including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and greenfield investments) as well as regulatory matters (including export control, sanctions, supply chain compliance and foreign investment review).
Yanqiu Liu focuses his practice on private equity transactions, cross-border acquisitions and capital markets. He also has experience in other corporate matters and complex international disputes.
As office administrator of Pillsbury’s Shanghai office, Stella Gu manages day-to-day functions and coordinates operational needs for attorneys and staff in the office and between Shanghai and the firm’s other offices.
Nannan Li focuses her practice in patent law, with a focus on electrical engineering.
Fang is experienced in trademark prosecution and brand protection in China. She represents clients in various trademark oppositions, cancellations, invalidations, applications for recognition of trademark as well-known and administrative litigations.
