Miriam Benor, Pillsbury’s director of attorney coaching, provides individualized coaching, facilitates group forums, and delivers original presentations on a wide variety of professional development and legal industry topics.
Miriam supports attorneys at all levels on anything personal or professional they’d like to work through, get support on or have accountability for, including topics such as people or workload management, goal-setting, confidence/imposter syndrome, business development, work/life balance, career satisfaction and more.

Miriam began her career as a complex commercial litigator and later became the associate director of career development at Pepperdine University School of Law, before joining Pillsbury in 2017 as the manager of talent development. In her first role at Pillsbury, she oversaw the firm’s litigation training, ran the mentorship program, conducted new-hire orientations, planned firmwide conferences and assisted with the annual attorney review process. She received her coaching training and certification from the Coaches Training Institute, and earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, in psychology from Columbia University.

- Regularly presents at major industry conferences, internal firm events, law schools and universities, and for Pillsbury clients.
- Has taught NALP’s Foundational Coaching Skills series since 2019.
- Served as faculty for the NALP Newer Professional’s Forum and developed and presented new coaching skills workshop.
