David W. Gibson provides corporate, project and commercial advice to a diverse range of public and private sector clients, with a primary focus on the health care and life sciences industries. He has a particular focus on advising on international health care acquisitions and collaborations and medical equipment projects.
David advises on a broad range of matters, including providing corporate, project, commercial, regulatory, finance and procurement advice in the health care and life sciences and other industries. He has extensive experience in complex procurements, PPP and capital build projects, mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing arrangements, and strategic partnering arrangements. Notably, David has particular experience in cancer care projects and advised University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Christie NHS Foundation Trust on all aspects of the pathfinder project to bring the Proton Beam Therapy equipment to the UK. He has spoken and lectured on international projects and PPP models, including as part of initiatives with the Department of International Trade.
