Andrew Wiktor

In his civil litigation practice, Andrew has represented companies in all phases of complex commercial disputes, including pre-litigation, at trial and on appeal. He has tried cases in federal and state court, and he has argued before the New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department. He has worked with clients in the technology, media, consumer goods, biopharmaceutical, communications, higher education, and energy industries.

Andrew clerked for the Hon. Denny Chin in the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He also interned in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and for the Hon. Laura Taylor Swain in the Southern District of New York.

• Conducted an independent internal review on behalf of a public university in response to allegations of conflicts and other misconduct.
• Advised SEC-regulated entity in connection with SEC and CFTC off-channel communications sweep.
• Represented a large software developer in two high-profile federal antitrust lawsuits against Google and Apple, helping secure a unanimous jury verdict against Google following a weekslong trial.
• Helped an international consumer goods company resolve a corporate governance dispute between one of its subsidiaries—an international ice cream company—and that subsidiary’s board of directors.
• Litigated a contract dispute on behalf of a publicly traded communications infrastructure company in Colorado state court.
• Represented an energy company in mass-tort litigation arising from fires in two states.
• Represented two incarcerated individuals appealing lower courts’ denials of their resentencing petitions under New York’s Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act.
• Advised an international auto glass company in connection with two state insurance fraud lawsuits brought against one of the client’s subsidiaries.
• Advised a worldwide media company concerning potential strategic business alliances involving one of the client’s subsidiaries.
